Happy Halloween 2013!! (:-o
First new Blog Post since last Thanksgiving!
I am now an LNA. Working at a Rutland Nursing Home. I thought I had decided I didn't want to work in a nursing home? Well guess what, here I am.
I am actually currently working. I should get off my Blog. I just want to say, I definitely need more creative outlets now that I am working at a job that gives me little happiness.
That (the happiness thing) was what had just been crossing my mind when I decided to pick up blogging again.
Maybe my next post will be more in depth.
For now, I am looking for more.

Happy Thanksgiving 2012
This is the first post since last year! Since then, I worked at a Dunkin Donuts for about a year. I moved to Florida for a few months and worked at a grocery store deli, and moved back home. Now I am working at a mall, and as an at home personal care assistant. phew! I am also getting my license to be a nursing assistant. I should be able to get an LNA job by the end of January! I just need to figure out if I will leave my home town to get an LNA job or stay here... I may have a great opportunity here, so I will think and pray about it a bit more :)
If anyone reads this, please keep me in your prayers, thanks!
I am going to start being active in my local Chesterton Society again, we will be reading The Well and the Shallows, I know it will be good, looking forward to reading it :) .
Peace out~

And while reading my email tonight...
i read " This [the disposition of the heart] is how the boredom of routine can become a great vehicle of conversion for many. It is likewise how the smallest inconveniences can save souls and turn hearts back to Me. So you see, the depth of Holy Love in your heart is significant, not only as you draw your last breath, but in every present moment."
This message was given from Jesus when He appeared to Moureen, a visionary in Ohio, today. This message does give me great hope, along with: " Offer each sacrifice with hope - hope that it will bring results according to God's Divine Will. People would not despair if they really understood the workings of God's Will."
That message was from St Pio of Pietrelcina. He is one of the Heavenly messengers sent to this site. There are many messengers, and of course, one message. Holy Love in the heart will change the world. So there we have it. The answer to all our problems. Now to live it, which is the hard part :)
In Three Months Time...
SO,
in the past three months, I moved to the bigger city in my state, and I started working and living, away from "the nest". It's been interesting thus far. Different in that I turned 21 and have "independence". This also means I have responsibility that I can't try to forget about, like paying rent, and buying food... I work at a job that does NOT appeal to me, so I really need to formulate my next move for my life!
I have been contemplating both Beekeeping, and Traveling. Now I need to pray about and consider how I can combine those two things, and do it for the Lord!
Keep me in your Prayers!
PEACE~
p.s. man do I need a good Hobby! maybe... photography?

Water
This is a video describing the effects we as humans can have on water, and it's effects on us. Some crazy stuff to think about...

4/9/2011
Just sitting here in Borders while chillin' in the city. Blogging seemed like the thing to do after checking emails facebook... and having given up movies alone during Lent... though I think that one is good to do on principle. :)
Brigid is at her youth group meeting, another sister is off doing yoga. I am bored though there is never really an excuse for boredom in a world like ours, with all the gifts the Lord has given us, me especially. I live in a country where I am pretty much comfortable, in my parents house, where we are comfortable and have a roof over our heads, and a bed to lay a head down in peace.
I pray for our Pope and for Mother Angelica's health and peace. I am praying a novena for the Pope for his birthday, along with thousands of other people :)
Mother Angelica is old... and she has had an amazingly active life for a contemplative nun :D I pray they both have peace in Christ. THey are both great spiritual leaders.
I had told myself(and Brigid) that I would right in my blog every day during lent, that didn't happen, but maybe I can do it every week (maybe every day during Holy Week) for hte rest of the year?
I was also gonna right in my journal every week or even every other day, starting the 1st of January as a new year's resolution... but that hasn't happened! well- my bottom is getting flat... and
Every Day is a New Day!
please Pray for me, and my resolution.. :)
Peace in Christ,
CaTHy

lucy i'm hooome!!
hey folks(and brig.. ;)
So, since December, my sister and I have decided to pursue the option of moving to the Big City in Vt. As of now, I am applying for jobs, and trying to make a spot for me up there. So first I need to get a job then we can search for a roof to keep off the cold and rain :)
I hope we find one before we grow flowers on our heads....... ;D
On another note, please pray for my mom who is going into minor surgery at the end of the month. And my dad and brother need some prayers in support of the all natural/local farm they are starting this spring!
One interesting bit of video I saw this month is about the properties of water, and the research scientists have done into what the effect of our emotions, thoughts, words and actions have on water. It's a private youtube video so you can only see it if the link is given to you... here it is! :)
take a look, it defintely makes ya think!
well, I'm off to mass
Peace to all!!!!

visit to Holy Love
Hi Readers/Brig!
I went to Holy Love Ministries in Ohio this past weekend.
It was Awesome!
We drove there on Friday night at about 12:30 a.m. It was a very long drive. we arrived in Ohio (Olmsted) at around 2 p.m. so that's... come on c... do the math... 14 hours! wow, long drive there.
When we got there (it was my dad, mom, sister and I by the way) we all went to sleep for a couple hours. We went to the Holy Love Ministry grounds after we freshened up and ate some pizza.
First thing we did was go into the new St. Thomas Aquinas Learning Center where they now have the book store and a cafeteria and everything. It's so awesome in there! It's a lot bigger than the old buildings and I'm sure they have plans for more future uses for it. :)
They also have a new chapel called Mary Refuge of Holy Love Chapel. That place is so beautiful, and it looks ready for prayer! They moved most of the statues that they had in the Welcome Center into the chapel, most noted were the St. Therese, St. John Vianny, Sacred Heart, and the new Mary Refuge of Holy Love statue. They are all so beautiful! I hope I can show you some pictures of them :)
After we had checked out the new buildings, we venerated the Blessing Point and a relic of Our Lady's hair that she gave us. We then went to the Lake of Tears to console Our Lady of Sorrows, especially as the Lord asked us to do that. We prayed the Rosary of Our Lady's Seven Sorrows (see other tab), which I came to know about through Immaculee Ilibagiza's book about Our Lady of Kibeho in Africa.
After that, since it was only about 8:30 p.m. by that time, we went back to the Chapel to await the appointed time for the Apparition which was set for midnight. We took pictures and prayed Rosaries and the Mercy Chaplet. At about 10:45 we went to the Field of Victory where the Apparition was to take place. Mom and I were in the procession in honor of Our Lady :). Brigid took a couple of pictures, and recorded a bit during the time we waited, and when the message was read aloud. It was a long message. One thing that surprised some of us was that Our Lady appeared to the visionary (Maureen) as Our Lady of Sorrows instead of Our Lady of Guadeloupe, even though Saturday we celebrated the feast of Our Lady of Guadeloupe. She said she appeared that way because she weeps for the victims of abortion, and for the world because of the sin of abortion. St. Michael the Archangel appeared with her and had a shield with a special symbol on it. It was the - dude, I'm just going to paste the whole message on here:
Holy Love Message

Midnight Service at the United Hearts Field
Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe
(This message was given in multiple parts over several days.)
St. Michael appears holding his Shield of Truth. Blessed Mother appears as Our Lady of Sorrows. She says: "Praise be to Jesus." St. Michael bows his head.
"St. Michael advances ahead of Me tonight, carrying his Shield of Truth. Please note that below the image of Our United Hearts on his shield is the image of the teardrop enveloping the unborn child from the Rosary of the Unborn. This is to signify that when the truth of the sin of abortion is accepted in hearts, abortion will stop. But it will not stop until then."
"I come once again to reconcile mankind with his Creator. The Alpha and the Omega are at hand in every present moment. While people busy themselves storing up food and stockpiling gold in preparation for what is to come, they miss the ark that is offered to them in this present moment - the Ark of Holy Love - which is My Immaculate Heart. In doing so, they frantically bypass the one safe harbor of peace, and pursue the stormy sea of human solutions outside of God."
"I come as the Image of Sorrows rather than the Image of Guadalupe which symbolizes the defense of life in the womb, for I continue to weep for every life which mankind destroys with disregard for the Hand by which it was created. Abortion not only destroys life but also human dignity. It is an outrage that has cost the world valuable leadership and obscured the direction of human events. But because mankind has not sought out the safe refuge of My Heart, he does not realize the fatal course he is pursuing."
"Dear children, I come to you once again to offer to you the asylum of My Heart during these treacherous times in which you now live. Often the greatest dangers are not physical but spiritual, and come clothed in seemingly great benefit. You must let everything pass through the sieve of Holy Love so that evil slips away and only truth remains. Be courageous in your efforts towards personal holiness. The whole world cannot be converted until you yourselves are converted. I am your Protectress. The grace of My Heart is omnipresent to you. Therefore, entrust to My Heart all things as a child depends on his mother. Learn to recognize Satan as the one who always opposes Holy Love."
"Please realize that as long as new life is insecure and jeopardized in the womb, world peace will be jeopardized. The boundaries of this country are now breached and evil readily accesses once secure destinations. Even information has reached new levels of insecurity. Yet people do not see any of this as the byproduct of the sin of abortion."
"Dear children, tonight I applaud your perseverance and faith in understanding that these Messages carry the words of Truth. Allow your hearts to be united with God and with one another. Do not be separated because of opinions."
"Tonight I am taking all of your petitions into My Heart. I will carry them to Heaven and place them on the altar of My Beloved Son's Heart. Do not fear for anything."
"I'm blessing you with My Blessing of Holy Love."

So, that's pretty intense eh??
I would say, it was completely worth getting soaked and cold, just to be there when Our Lady said these things. I feel so sorry that she is so sad! I hope she is happy soon.
We went back to the hotel that night, we went to sleep around 1:30a.m. and we went to Mass the next morning at 11 a.m. at St. Richard's Church a couple streets away from the hotel :)
We then went back to the Holy Love grounds and went to the bookstore, where I bought the United Hearts chaplet beads and a picture of St. Catherine of Sienna drawn by Maureen! I also bought a St. Michael's Chaplet for Brig, which is a salutation to all the choirs of Angels :).
We had to leave Ohio earlier than planned because the weather looked like it was going to turn pretty nasty. So we left... It was another long drive which we started at about 2:30 p.m. but it ended at about 3 a.m., so not as long as the drive there. :)
I am very grateful for the Blessing of that trip. I love going to Holy Love, and Brig and I hope to volunteer there next summer. Lord I hope we can!! please pray we have that opportunity. :D
Love in Holy Love,

Today I read an amazingly inspirational book. It's called Left to Tell by Immaculee Ilibagiza. Immaculee is a Rwanda genocide survivor. She had a harrowing tale of survival, and a sorrowful experience of the war. Through the story she tells, one can find great victory for God- though grace and forgiveness. I highly suggest you find a copy and read it! As Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, the man who wrote the foreword said, this story can change your life! Here is a web sight that could give you more insight about this beautiful Daughter of the King: http://www.lefttotell.com/about/index.php
Other than that, my day has been the usual Monday, work and tiredness... from a late night last night ;)
Love to Jesus and Mary!
and peace to all on earth, especially in this season of Joy-

and... Tonight! :)
Hi again.
Brig my sister, just showed me an awesome TED Talk video about what I've been learning about food for the past couple of years.
Sweet dreams, I'll try to post again next week and tell you what I've been thinking and experiencing.
This Week
O yeah, Today I have been thinking about:
Israel
Holy Love
Family
That's pretty much it...
A video about Israel that I suggest you watch is this speech by a woman named Melanie Phillips. I have to say, I agree with her.. :)
I was thinking about Holy Love because the most recent messages came to my email today, Lovely... : )
I have been thinking about family because I have been blessed with time to spend with them this week. :D I went to a TED talk gathering that my brother was hosting the other night, and we watched about five videos from that site, plus some Youtube videos that I really liked.
Enjoy!
The First...
So, I am writing my first post on my new blog. ON MY NEW COMPUTER. It's so cool. I do not yet know what I will be writing about the most, probably it will be whatever happens to me, or whatever I happen to be thinking about a lot.
I'm not sure who will be reading this, but I hope you enjoy it whoever you are. :)
